We would also like to take this opportunity to feature the Gaylord area. Gaylord is often considered the gateway to Northern Michigan, along with Grayling. Located right off of I 75, Gaylord is the quaint alpine themed village that offers some of the areas best golf courses and easy access to downhill ski resorts, lakes and many other great attractions. Gaylord is home to the Otsego Club and Treetops Resorts, both home to some exceptional skiing. Keep in mind that the Otsego Club is a private club and not always open to the public. Gaylord is also close to Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob ski hills.
Gaylord is also home to some great inland lakes, featuring Otsego Lake and 90 other smaller lakes.
